General
Cold process soap is a traditional way of making soap from scratch using natural oils, butters, and lye. Instead of heating the mixture, the ingredients are blended at room temperature and then poured into molds to harden. During curing (usually 4–6 weeks), the soap becomes milder, harder, and longer-lasting.
It’s a gentle, handcrafted soapmaking method that allows for rich, creamy lather and customizable ingredients like butters, clays, and essential oils.
To extend the life of your cold processed soap, keep it in a dry, well-ventilated area between uses such as a self draining soap dish. For body butter, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its consistency and effectiveness. In hot or humid climates, body butter may be refrigerated if you experience melting.
Our products are formulated with gentle, natural ingredients and do not contain harsh chemicals. They are generally tolerated by all; however, we always recommend doing a small patch test to ensure no irritation occurs.
These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any skin conditions.
With proper storage, our cold processed soap can last 1-2 years while our body butters can last for 6 - 12 months.
To maximize their shelf life, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid introducing water or bacteria into the body butter by using a clean spoon to scoop out the product instead of your fingers.
